If you would like your own private channel for you your guild or just your friends create a new thread in this topic saying the following.

My name on the Ventrilo server is Davidk. Any problems just send me a page and I will speak with you about it. If I am online I will open a private chat with you for your channel. The "Owner" of the channel will be given Channel Admin. Membership will also be given out on the Ventrilo to active users.
